Donald Trump has failed to make America great again

The death of George Floyd was a tragedy for humanity, and the collapse of modern civilization, in the democratic country we know as the United States. Now the nickname "Ugly America" is real in this digital age.

The motto "E Pluribus Unum" which is in the constitution of the American Constitution is now scattered. The motto is taken from Latin which literally means: "From many to one". The founding fathers of the Americans imagined that this country was ready to accept every difference that came from a variety of backgrounds. That difference is a historical fact and makes America great.

The motto should have been the great heritage of the founders of the United States. However, now we see social and cultural disparities widen. Racism actually occurs on American soil in the midst of a global pandemic, which is caused by a deadly virus, COVID-19.

Donald Trump has failed to make America great again.

As a person, Donald Trump is an arrogant human. Almost every day he sheds anger and bad speech on social media. The poor behavior of the head of state has made America no longer deserve to be called a field of dreams to pursue an American dream free from racism and harassment.

The Statue of Liberty, which stands majestically in New York, is probably sobbing watching this tragedy in the New Normal era. In the past, this statue often smiled proudly watching the arrival of foreigners who came to the port of New York to pursue the American dream.

There is the irony that has happened repeatedly. This in no way shows that the United States as an exemplary country as a role model for human rights. Politicians in Washington and various non-governmental organizations often speak out about human rights violations outside the USA. Now the world is witnessing how a bad example of the destruction of the noble value of humanity in this country. The image of democracy has also been severely torn apart in American soil.

White House staff should hide expensive smartphones or tablets that are usually used by Donald Trump to tweet on Twitter. The agenda for speaking in front of reporters must also be reduced unless a manuscript has been prepared that must be read without wild interpretation from Mr. President, who is now held by Donald Trump.

Every citizen of the United States has the right to live in peace, free from racism and violations of human rights, both from the police, the military, and the American people themselves. If world citizens witness peace in the land of Uncle Sam, maybe world citizens will forget what is called Ugly America.

Americans usually believe in this wise word, that there is a second chance to start a good thing, also in this New Normal era. Trying out the second chance must be done by all people and politicians in the United States, and there is no need to be bad or say unnecessary words.

They should unite and work together to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. America and the world do not need other dangerous viruses such as racial discrimination and violations of human rights. Such acts may not occur on American soil or in other countries. We all know a peaceful life is beautiful. Similarly, love between fellow human beings. Make it today to start a second chance for a better world.
