Whether there has been a violation of human rights in Kiev and surrounding areas during a demonstration in the former Soviet Union country.  Anti-government demonstrators in Ukraine are expanding their protests after talks between the opposition and President Viktor Yanukovych stalled . Riot police brutally beat several people, including a 17-year-old, who were detained on January 20, 2014, during a standoff in Kiev.   Ukraine’s human rights record remains poor. Candidates and supporters faced violence and harassment from authorities ahead of October parliamentary elections. Opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko alleged ill-treatment in prison, where she is serving a seven-year sentence, and two of her former political allies were imprisoned.

Human rights violations in the Middle East and beyond

Many inter-state conflict and upheaval, even revolution in the country in several countries in the region. Arab Spring revolution has occurred in the Middle East, and the shedding happens in Egypt, Libya, Syria, and spread to several countries in Africa. No wonder that a violation of human rights in various parts of Africa and the Middle East. U.S. State Department praised the 2011 revolution, the Middle East in the annual report of human rights around the world. However, department officials noted it would take more time to put an end to human rights abuses in Arab countries. Although the elections have taken place in Egypt, but there are still many basic liberties that cannot be carried out independently.

The future of human rights in China

We are also familiar with Chinese art and culture such as Kung Fu, noodles, and the natural beauty of the country that has a very old history as India, Greece and Egypt.  You may also have heard and read about the greatness of China's economic, political and human rights violations in the country; even Japan was concerned with the spread of air pollution in China to Japan. Is air pollution would damage the health of the Japanese people is considered a human rights violation? Which obviously every human being has the right to clean air and blue skies. 

Anwar Ibrahim remind Malaysia to respect Indonesia

Anwar Ibrahim, former Deputy Prime Minister during Mahathir Muhammad era, remind Malaysian, especially the government and politician to respect Indonesian. After Malaysian awarded Independence by the British Empire in 1957, Indonesia helps to build Malaysia. Indonesia sent a lot of teacher, engineer, and other expertise to Malaysia. Many young Malaysian also study in Indonesia universities. After they graduated they became successful persons in politics and other activities such as in business. Anwar Ibrahim also mentioned that there are not big leaders like Indonesian leader Soekarno and Hatta. As we know, Soekarno inspired Asian and African countries woke up to fight and earned their independence from western colonialism. Anwar Ibrahim reminds all Malaysian that there is no great poet artist in Malaysia like Indonesians, Chairil Anwar and WS Rendra.
